Chief Editor for UN dailies Ben Malor to speak at Metropolitan Campus

Ben Malor, chief editor of the dailies for the UN News at the United Nations, and former communications advisor to the president of Ghana, will speak at the Metropolitan Campus at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, in Becton Hall, Room 205. The event is open to all members of the FDU community.

The title of his presentation is, “The Role of the Free Press in Democratic Society, and Threats to That Freedom Worldwide.”

Malor started his career with the BBC, anchoring shows such as "Fast Track" and "Africa Live". He later moved to the UN, where he served as the chief executive producer of UN Radio. Then he became the senior communication adviser and head of communications for President John Mahama before returning to the UN in his current position.
