Serving Those Who Served

Fairleigh Dickinson University has been educating America's veterans since 1946, and offers a strong lineup of academic programs and support services. The University has been regularly honored for its exceptional commitment to veterans. For example, FDU this year was named among the Best Colleges for Veterans by US News and World Report.

In addition, Fairleigh Dickinson University last year was ranked by College Factual among the top 20 nationally and the best in New Jersey for veterans studying liberal arts and general studies.

FDU is a proud participant in the GI Bill® Yellow Ribbon Program, which allows an eligible veteran to attend an FDU undergraduate, graduate, or certificate program at no cost.

The University was also among twenty institutions nationwide to receive a Veterans Award Grant from the American Council on Education (ACE) and the WalMart Foundation. These grants recognized “model programs advancing access and success in higher education for veterans and their families.”
