Joseph Roman

Professor Roman retired as a captain from the Hackensack, New Jersey Police Department after  twenty-seven years of service.  During his career, Professor Roman was patrol officer, a juvenile detective, a narcotics detective, and a D.A.R.E. officer, but most of his career was spent working with children in the youth division, both as a detective and as the Youth Division commander.  Professor Roman has an undergraduate degree from Montclair State University and a Masters Degree in Public Administration (MAS) from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
