Hannah Rozen

Dr. Rozen started at FDU in August, 2011 as an Assistant Professor. She earned her PhD. In Business with an Accounting concentration at Hebrew University. She earned both an MS in Economics and a  BA in Accounting at Cleveland State University.

Dr. Rozen primarily teaches financial and managerial accounting courses including Intermediate I,  II and Advanced Accounting along with Managerial Accounting I, Accounting for Managers and Cost Accounting. She most often teaches in the  MS in Accounting – Track B, program, but also teaches on the Metro campus.

Dr. Rozen’s research interests include earnings management , corporate governance and investments. She has mainly delved into this topic as it relates to the public venture capital industry. Two of her papers on the topic have been published in the Journal of Accounting and Finance. Her work related to investments has been published in the Journal of Investing. Dr. Rozen also conducts research related to her teaching, and has published managerial-accounting related articles in both Management Accounting Quarterly and Strategic Finance.
