Donald Buzinkai

Assistant Professor of Accounting

Professor Buzinkai has a BS in Accounting from King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, an MBA (Operations Management) from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and a Doctorate of Professional Studies (Finance) from Pace University in New York City.  He is an active CPA in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a member of the AICPA.

Donald has over twenty-five years of professional experience in accounting and finance and has held positions such as chief accounting officer, corporate treasurer, and operating segment chief financial officer.  He has worked in the manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and consulting services industries.

Professor Buzinkai's research interests include the examination of the shareholder effects of attributed-firm responsibility and reputation-repair actions on shareholder value following major corporate events, and International Financial Reporting Standards.
