Christopher Caldiero

Associate Professor - Dept. of Communication Studies

Dr. Christopher Caldiero joined the Department of Communication Studies in September 2006. Prior to joining the FDU faculty, Dr. Caldiero earned his Ph.D. from Rutgers University. Teaching and research interests include corporate and crisis communication, postmodern philosophy, organizational communication, and rhetorical analysis.

In a previous life, Dr. Caldiero taught at Montclair State University and Rutgers University. Prior to this, Dr. Caldiero worked for CBS Sports for almost 10 years. There, he filled a number of roles, traveled extensively, met lots of famous people, and got loads of free hats and clothes.

Dr. Caldiero interests include music, golf, and American history...and his wonderful daugther Lily! Professor Caldiero is the faculty advisor for the FDU Chapter of PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America)and the current President of the New Jersey Communication Association (NJCA).
