Dr. Andrew J. Rosman is dean of Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Silberman College of Business. Formerly the dean of the College of Management at LIU Post, Rosman has distinguished himself as a professor, administrator and leader with a record of accomplishment in building relationships, forging strong teams and inspiring change.
Dr. Rosman joined LIU Post in 2012 and led many important initiatives, including laying the foundation for future programs in China and Mexico as well as academic programs in entrepreneurship and branding, building dual degree and experiential learning programs, and developing strong alumni outreach efforts and external relationships with the business community.
Previously, Dr. Rosman spent 23 years at the University of Connecticut, serving in several roles including director of the MS program in accounting and its internship program, as well as executive director of Online Education for the School of Business and professor of accounting.
Dr. Rosman in particular has established a reputation for leadership in online learning. He was the founding director of the online MS in accounting program at the University of Connecticut, which was ranked 8th in the 2013 Best Online Graduate Business Programs by U.S. News & World Report at the time he left the university. In addition, he has earned two international teaching awards for online teaching, has published an article and book chapter on online learning, and has presented widely on the subject matter.
Dr. Rosman earned his B.B.A. from Hofstra University and his Ph.D. in business from the University of North Carolina.
