Recommended Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Freshman:

Applicants must have graduated from an accredited secondary school or have received a General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.

  • 4 units of English
  • 3 units of science (2 units of laboratory science minimum)
  • 3 units of college prep mathematics (such as Algebra I & II and geometry)
  • 2 units of history
  • 1 unit of foreign language (2 recommended)
  • 4 units of electives (at least 3 should be academic in nature)

Important Deadlines for Freshman Applicants

Fairleigh Dickinson University is on rolling admissions and accepts applications for admission throughout the year as space permits. Students are encouraged to note the following:

Oct. 1 - The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available.

Nov. 15 - Early Decision Deadline.

Jan. 15 - Priority Consideration for maximum merit-based scholarships

May 1 - Enrollment Deposit Deadline to secure a place in the new class! To live on campus, submit the housing deposit and complete the housing application by May 1.
