The School has established hiring policies to ensure that students who apply for a job are considered on the basis of their resumes and recommendations.
Resumes are reviewed, qualifications are determined, and then interviews are scheduled. Once prospective employees are interviewed, hiring decisions are made.
That being said, the School receives a large number of resumes every semester. It is not uncommon to have 50 resumes and applications for Graduate Assistantships in a year, or 40 resumes for lab assistants in any given semester. The number of potential positions is much lower than then number of resumes we receive. As such, we may not be able to get back to everyone who applies for a position, even though we strive to do so.
