Silberman Graduate Proficiency Exams
Proficiency examinations are available for students to take in order to demonstrate knowledge in a particular area of study. Successful demonstration will result in a corresponding class being eligible for waiver.
Students who wish to take a proficiency exam must take the exam before the completion of their first semester.
Students are permitted to take an examination one time only for a course. Courses for which proficiency exams are administered and for which study guides are available include:
- Financial Accounting: End User Approach (PDF)
- Economic Analysis (.doc)
- Principles of Finance (.doc)
- Foundations of Management (PDF)
- Marketing Principles (.doc)
- Statistical Data Analysis (.doc)
The completed exams are prepared and evaluated by the respective departments on a pass/fail basis.
