Dr. Yong Guo

Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Dr. Guo started as the Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences for the School of Pharmacy in January 2012. As a Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. Guo leads the school and students by teaching didactic courses and laboratories.
Before joining FDU, Dr. Guo was a Principal Scientist at Janssen Pharmaceutical R&D, a Johnson & Johnson company. Dr. Guo also served as an adjunct professor in the master program of Pharmaceutical Science at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Dr. Guo has a background in pharmaceutical drug product development, quality control and project management in pharmaceutical industry. His research work has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and book chapters.
Dr. Guo is excited about the opportunity to help build an exciting and innovative pharmacy program. He enjoys sharing his extensive pharmaceutical industry experience with the students at FDU.
