Words, Arts, and Music Festival

Mark your calendars for WAMFest 2019

We are working on finding and finalizing artists and performers for this year's festival.

WAMFest is an annual series of readings, interviews, talks and performances hosted by Fairleigh Dickinson University's School of the Arts. WAMFest brings successful artists of various art genres to the campus to inspire and inform students and the community. Past guests have included Bruce Springsteen, Robert Pinsky, Roseanne Cash, Eugene Mirman, Jonathan Demme, Talib Kweli, Mark Morris, Neil Gaiman, Ice-T, and Sean Astin.

All events are free of charge and open to the public.

Look what we did in 2018. Where you there?

The theme for WAMFest 2018 is the process of artistic collaboration. For example, how might a beat maker work with a lyricist to compose a rap song? What does that conversation, that process, actually look like?

All events will take place in Lenfell Hall or the Italian Garden. Lenfell Hall is located inside Hennessey Hall the Mansion.

Join us for several exciting collaboratories: Working spaces that will provide opportunities to watch the process of collaboration as it unfolds.
