Words, Arts, and Music Festival
WAMFest is an annual series of readings, interviews, talks and performances hosted by Fairleigh Dickinson University's School of the Arts. WAMFest brings successful artists of various art genres to the campus to inspire and inform students and the community. Past guests have included Bruce Springsteen, Robert Pinsky, Roseanne Cash, Eugene Mirman, Jonathan Demme, Talib Kweli, Mark Morris, Neil Gaiman, Ice-T, and Sean Astin.
All events are free of charge and open to the public.
1 PM in Monninger Center.
Arts by the People presents:
Heritage Stories in Motion and Open Mic
Featuring poets Paula Neves, Ysabel Gonzales, Tamara Zbrizher, and dancers Jennifer Sanchez and Alyssa Tiren.
4 PM in Dreyfuss Theater.
- Ambar Lucid, Indie Rock Singer and Songwriter
- American String Quartet, Peter Winograd, Daniel Avshalomov and Wolfram Koessel plus pianist Vanessa Perez
- NJ Ballet, Don Quixote Pas de deux, Choreography after Marius Petipa, Risa Mochizuki and Esnel Ramos Hernandez, Tango, Choreographed by Johan Renvall, Eunice Suba and Emmanuel Martirosyan
8 PM in Lenfell Hall.
