Campus Activities

A unique advantage of working at the University is the broad range of concerts, lectures and social activities available to employees. There are lecture series, seminars and conferences on each campus, and performances by the Opera at Florham Park, as well as art exhibits in the Edward Williams Building. In addition, student athletic events and some other student events scheduled through the Student Affairs offices are open to employees. Watch for announcements. Credit Union

The purpose of the Fairleigh Dickinson University Federal Credit Union is to encourage savings and to provide loans to eligible members. The FDU Federal Credit Union is an independent banking organization, membership in which is open to all full-time and part-time employees and their families. The credit union offers many services: a variety of savings accounts, certificates of deposit, IRAS, first and second mortgages, and open-end equity lines of credit, as well as traditional loans and free travelers checks. Savings and loan payments may be made by mail or in person or, if employees prefer, through payroll deduction or direct deposit.

Employees may open savings and checking accounts as soon as they are employed, but they must have completed three months of service before attaining eligibility to borrow.

The main Credit Union Office is located at the Florham Campus and has business hours Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A branch office is located on the Metropolitan Campus in Alumni Hall and has business hours Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Credit union offices are closed on all bank holidays.
