Bookstore Voucher Process

The Bookstore Voucher process allows students to use a portion of their financial aid refund in the FDU Follet Bookstore up to one week prior to the start of classes if there is an excess credit from Financial Aid for the term after tuition, room & board, and fees is deducted. The students account will be charged in the amount of the book voucher, which may reduce the amount of any financial aid refund that the student may receive for the semester. However, if you decide not to use the voucher, the funds will be returned to your account. If you do not use the full amount of the voucher, your account will be adjusted to reflect your actual purchases.

Bookstore Vouchers can be obtained in the Office of Enrollment Services. Please bring a picture ID with you and we will review your account to verify a credit balance to issue a Bookstore Voucher. Students who have a balance from a previous term, either current or in collections, will not be eligible to participate.

The Bookstore Voucher may not be used online, for rentals, or purchases outside of the Fairleigh Dickinson University bookstore.

Bookstore vouchers will be limited to $700 per semester. If a student’s enrollment level is lessened or aid eligibility is otherwise effected after receipt of a bookstore voucher, the resulting change may cause the student to owe a balance to the University. These balances are the sole responsibility of the student.
