The Master of Science in Electrical Engineering is designed for working engineering professionals who find it difficult to attend conventional classroom classes. The MS in Cyber and Homeland Security Administration is a 36 credit graduate program that focuses on practical and theoretical aspects of enforcing and ensuring homeland security. There is a strong emphasis on leadership throughout the program. Specializations are offered in Terrorism and Security Studies, Emergency Management, and Leadership.
The MSA is a 36 credit graduate program that focuses on practical and theoretical aspects of the various components relative to the administration and management of sports personnel and facilities, recreation and fitness programs/businesses, health facilities, coaching, and recreational activities.
Offered by the Institute of Math and Science, the MA in Mathematical Foundations is designed to prepare Highly Qualified Elementary and Middle School Mathematics Teachers. The 33-credit non-thesis program offers online and face-to-face options for the convenience of certified teachers. The MA in Mathematical Foundations is New Jersey’s only fully online graduate mathematics degree specifically designed for K-8 educators.
The Nursing Educator MSN program prepares nurses as teachers in collegiate programs, in associate or bachelor’s degree nursing education. Students acquire knowledge and skills in teaching that enable them to work effectively with students, parents, patients, and consumers. Students complete a preceptor teaching practicum that is individually tailored to student goals and exposes them to all aspects of the faculty academic and clinical teaching roles.
FDU’s low-residency MFA program in Creative Writing is ideal for students who want a more flexible academic schedule. Students attend two 10-day residencies each year, one in August at FDU‘s Florham Campus in Madison, New Jersey, and one in January at the University’s Wroxton College in Oxfordshire, England. Throughout the remainder of the school year, as they write and revise their creative work, students work one-on-one with their mentors and participate in online workshops.
The MA in Creative Writing and Literature for Educators is the first graduate program in the nation to focus on the needs of high school teachers who teach both creative writing and literature. The program combines a 3-day weekend residency with on-line coursework.

The 36-credit non-thesis program offers on-campus, off campus, and online delivery for the convenience of working professionals.
The program consists of a series of 10 courses specifically designed and developed for psychologists seeking to expand their knowledge of psychopharmacology. In addition to required readings and videotaped lectures, students participate in online discussions and weekly chats. These chats represent the only weekly requirement that is scheduled; all other activities occur at the convenience of the participant.

They are designed for National Guard personnel, and are therefore ideal for homeland security professionals seeking to enhance their professional credentials. Each certificate consists of 6 courses (18 credits). Certificate credits may be combined to build towards the 30 credits required for FDU's Master of Administrative Science Degree.
These certificates are designed to both supplement FDU’s homeland security certificates and to stand on their own. They are ideally suited for law enforcement as well as other professionals seeking to enhance their professional credentials. Each certificate consists of 6 courses (18 credits). Certificate credits may be combined to build towards the 30 credits required for FDU’s Master of Administrative Science Degree.
