Meet the Staff
Associate Dean for Student Union and Campus Engagement
Jessica directs the primary areas of the Student Union & Office of Student Life at the Metropolitan Campus: Campus Events, Student Union Operations, Greek Life, Leadership, Student Organizations, Club Sports, Fiscal Management, Information Desk, Knight Club, & all meeting spaces. Her background in Higher Education includes campus life, academic advisement, athletics, emergency response, and instruction. She is a certified NJ teacher who completed her BA in Secondary Education at William Paterson University and an M.Ed in Educational Psychology from Rutgers University. Prior to her employment at FDU, Jessica worked at Bloomfield College, Mercer County Community College, and for West Windsor-Plainsboro school district in multiple positions. Jessica also instructs UNIV 1001 & 1002 Core courses at the Metropolitan Campus.
Assistant to the Office of Student Life
Wendy Hager has worked at Fairleigh Dickinson University for 35 years. Her responsibilities include: student payroll, reservation management, supervision of desk assistants, and many administrative duties. Wendy worked at the Office of Career Management before joining the Student Life team. She has helped to advise the yearbook, and has also been an advisor to many clubs. In addition, she has organized the Late Knight and Commuter breakfast for many decades.
Assistant Director of Student Life
Tim serves as the Assistant Director of Student Life for Programming and Greek Life. He is the primary advisor to the Student Programming Board and head advisor to the Inter-Greek Council. Tim graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a Master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration. His professional background includes working with athletics, academic advising, residence, and student life.
Assistant Dean for Student Engagement and First-Year Experience
Jocelyn's responsibilities include: supervision of Student Union operational areas, undergrad & graduate student supervision, scheduling, SUB programming, along with assisting with the regular Student Life programming schedule. Jocelyn has a higher education background that includes many years of work in Residence Life, as well as Student Life. She is a UNIV Core instructor and highly involved in regional professional associations. She is an advisor to many of our student organizations.
