Meal Plan Options:

Meal Plan A:  Unlimited meals in the Student Union Building cafeteria and $100 flex for dining in any on-campus Gourmet Dining location. Includes 5 guest meals per semester.

Meal Plan B: Unlimited meals in the Student Union Building cafeteria and $200 flex for dining in any on-campus Gourmet Dining location. Includes 5 guest meals per semester.

Meal Plan C: Unlimited meals in the Student Union Building cafeteria, $200 flex for dining in any on-campus Gourmet Dining location, and $100 Fairleigh 1 Card cash  (restricted to dining only) for use at on and off-campus eateries as well as select vending machines. Includes 5 guest meals per semester.

Meal Plan D:  Limited to 8 meals per week in the Student Union Building cafeteria and $200 flex for dining in any on-campus Gourmet Dining location. Available upon request by graduate students and residents of University Courts 4, 6, 10, and Linden 6 (buildings with kitchens) only.

(New for Fall 2015)

Meal Plan E: Limited 175 Block meals per semester of which five per week (one per weekday Monday-Friday) can be used on a combo meal in any on campus dining location, plus $150 in flex dollars for use in on-campus eateries, $100 Fairleigh 1 Card dining only cash for use at any on and off campus eatery, as well as select vending machines, and 15 Gourmet recharge snacks per semester used in on-campus eateries. Includes 15 guest meals per semester. First-year freshmen do not qualify to request Meal Plan E.

Please note:

  • All residents are automatically assigned Meal Plan A.
     
  • Graduate Students are not required to have a meal plan, but can request Meal Plan A, B, C, D, E or no meal plan.
     
  • There are no meal plan swipe restrictions for Meal Plans A, B, and C. Residents are able to swipe into the SUB Cafeteria as many times a day as they desire.

Breakfast

Full Breakfast Menu: Monday – Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Modified Breakfast Menu: Monday – Fri.; 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.


Lunch

Full Lunch Menu: Monday – Friday; 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Modified Lunch Menu: Monday – Friday; 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.


Dinner

Monday – Thursday: 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Friday: 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Saturday–Sunday: 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.


Brunch

Saturday–Sunday: 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

A modified Brunch menu is served during changeover from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 

Dining services at FDU are provided by Gourmet Dining Services.


When does my meal plan begin?
The first meal of each semester for all residents is brunch, in the SUB Cafeteria, on the Sunday before the first day of classes. Residents are responsible for their own meals prior to this day.

The cafeteria is located on the second floor of the Student Union Building. Students must present their FDU ID card to gain access to the cafeteria. For more information about meals plans and meal plan rates, please refer to "Room & Board Rates".
