Middle Eastern Culture and Language Research Guide



To search for books on Middle Eastern Cultures and Languages, go to “Search Library Catalog” on the left side of the Library webpage. Use “Advanced Search” and put in your search terms (“Middle Eastern” and “Culture” or “Language). Be aware that you may have to use synonymous terms in order to retrieve better results. The call numbers will vary depending on the country and the subject. For example, some results are:

From the database, you can use Advanced Search to enter search terms. Remember to check boxes to limit your search to full text and scholarly or peer reviewed articles. You can also limit your search by date.



Remember: When searching online, check “About Us” to find out the authorship of the website. Don’t take it’s authority for granted.
