Florham Campus Orientation 2017

This is an exciting time to become a member of the Fairleigh Dickinson University, Florham Campus community. We look forward to welcoming you during one of four overnight orientation sessions this summer.

Summer 2017 Orientation Dates:

  • June 28-29
  • July 10-11
  • July 12-13
  • July 17-18

Orientation will allow you to experience what it means to be a Florham Campus student, both in and out of the classroom. Throughout the two-day program you will meet new and current FDU students, and develop friendships that will last throughout your college career. You will also meet the Orientation Team who are current students here to assist you during your orientation, welcome week, and throughout the fall semester.

What to expect

Check-in takes place from 9 AM to 10 AM on Day One. Our Parent Orientation program will wrap up by 4:30 PM on Day One. Students should plan to leave campus by 3 PM on Day Two.

The sessions that you will attend will

  • highlight university and academic resources,
  • provide you with opportunities to speak with faculty and staff, and
  • explain how to get involved on campus.

Your overnight stay will be filled with a variety of exciting activities. It will provide you with a great opportunity to develop friendships, experience a night at college, explore the campus, and discover what life at the Florham Campus is like first hand.

We hope you will leave prepared, confident, and excited for the fall semester to begin as soon as your orientation experience ends. Here is a glimpse of some of the sessions that you will attend:

Education Opportunity Fund (EOF Program)

First-year students who are participating in the EOF Program are required to attend a month-long pre-college residency program. For more information please contact the EOF Office at 973-443-8566.
