Remote Access

The FDU Libraries use an authentication server that makes access to our databases from off-campus easy. This server allows members of the FDU community who have an FDU Webmail ID and password to login ("authenticate") and use the databases as if they were here on campus.

The authentication process is only required once per session. What this means
is that once a user has logged in using his/her FDU Webmail ID and password, he/she may use one or more databases without having to login again. However, if the user closes the
browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome) window, he/she must re-authenticate by re-entering his/her ID and password.

If you are a member of the FDU community and want to use our available
databases, simply go to the FDU Online Library page of this website, click on the
database link you wish to use, and input your FDU Webmail ID and password
when prompted. If you DO NOT have an FDU Webmail account, please
click here to create one.
