New Jersey Family Business of the Year Luncheon and Awards — October 25, 2017

MADISON, N.J. (October 6, 2017) – Fairleigh Dickinson University’s nationally ranked Rothman Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship is honored to host the 25th Annual New Jersey Family Business of the Year Awards on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Crystal Plaza in Livingston, NJ.

This year’s keynote speaker is Al Titone, NJ district director of the Small Business Administration. Titone will honor 16 companies for their multi-generational success. The companies being honored were categorized based on their annual sales.

A panel of judges comprised of previous winners and members of the business community chose the companies that best exemplified a multi-generational impact on the community, perseverance, innovation, commitment to family, and business success. The honorees represent some of the very best of family business in NJ. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony and will be featured in the December issue of New Jersey Business Magazine.

The Master of Ceremonies is Sally Glick, principal and chief growth strategist at Sobel & Co., LLC. Glick is responsible for the development and implementation of the firm’s branding, marketing communications, and business development strategies. Glick also serves as chair on the advisory board for FDU’s Center for Excellence and was ranked in NJBIZ’s “Top 50 Women in Business” list.

The 2017 NJ Family Business of the Year Awards are sponsored by: New Jersey Business Magazine, PNC Bank, the Rothman Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Silberman College of Business, Coughlin Duffy LLP, Sobel & Co., LLC, New Jersey Business & Industry Association, and the Crystal Plaza. Proceeds from the awards luncheon will go towards an entrepreneurial scholarship at FDU.
