Ripples Across the Ocean Performed by the All Seasons Chamber Players

Teaneck, NJ (September 16, 2015)— The All Seasons Chamber Players, one of New Jersey’s most popular and active chamber music ensembles, will perform a special concert of chamber music at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 18 at 3:00 p.m. in Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Edward Williams Hall (150 Kotte Place, Hackensack, NJ). The event is sponsored by the Cultural Arts Department and will also include a reception and art exhibit in the Edward Williams Gallery of sculptures by Arthur Dworin.

The program, “Ripples Across The Ocean” will include Three Watercolors for Flute, Cello and Piano by French composer Philippe Gaubert; the beautiful Sonata for Violin and Piano, No. 1 (“Rain Sonata”) by Johannes Brahms; the lively Piano Trio in G by Joseph Haydn and two engaging tangos for piano by Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla.

Performers will include violinist Bob Lawrence of NYC; cellist E. Zoe Hassman of NYC; pianists Jean Strickhom of Demarest and Jacqueline Shiller-Audi of Paramus and guest artist flutist Lisa Hansen of Leonia.

The All Seasons Chamber Players has performed over 750 live concerts in the metropolitan area. In addition, thousands of people have heard the ensemble on local TV stations. Ensemble performers are professional musicians who also play with major area orchestras, Broadway show and summer music festivals.

Winner of the Award for Artistic Excellence from the Bergen County Division of Cultural and Historic Affairs, the ensemble has also received grants from several corporate and private sources.

Admission to the concert, reception and art exhibit is free and all are welcome. The audience is invited to come as early at 2:00 p.m. to enjoy the art exhibit and reception before the 3:00 concert.
