Teens “Discover Business and Foreign Language” at FDU Summer Camp

Madison, NJ (June 16, 2016) —The popular "Discover Business" Teen Camp, will once again be offered this summer at the Florham Campus in Madison, NJ from July 11-15, 2016. New this year will be a foreign language class where students can choose between French and Spanish and learn how to conduct business across borders. 

The camp is open to teens entering grades 9-12. Experienced and responsible adult instructors and counselors will lead all classes and activities.

During this week long day camp, organized classes and activities will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Campers will be immersed in communication and research skills, team building, marketing, personal finance and investing, networking skills, foreign language, and introduced to business planning and entrepreneurship, learning skills essential to business and life. Participants also will be able to choose from a variety of other activities, including dodge ball, kickball, Frisbee, and nature walks.

The Rothman Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Fairleigh Dickinson’s nationally recognized entrepreneurship center, sponsors the camp. Faculty and staff members will lead all workshops and skill sessions. Tuition is $535, with a $175 registration and deposit fee; all registration must be completed by June 30.
