Michele Logan, FDU alumna, to deliver Annual New Jersey Female Entrepreneur Lecture
Madison, N.J. (March 11, 2016) — Michele Logan, CEO and owner of CompoSecure, LLC, will deliver the 2016 New Jersey Female Entrepreneur Lecture at Fairleigh Dickinson University on Friday, April 1, 2016.
CompoSecure, LLC was founded in 2000 and is a pioneer in the card manufacturing industry, combining science and art to offer clients secure, innovative and durable proprietary products that implement leading edge engineering capabilities and technology. The company designs and manufactures metal cards, custom ID cards, and pre-laminated materials. It offers professional services, such as new product development, contract manufacturing, and consulting services, and includes clients in financial services, government and security, luxury retail and gifting, luxury resort and casinos, and plastic card manufacturers.
Michele Logan is Chief Executive Officer and an owner of CompoSecure where she manages all aspects of the business enterprise. She has overseen the move of the business to a new state of the art facility that allowed for significant expansion of output capacity. She also built experienced production management and administrative teams, while maintaining CompoSecure’s pursuit of innovation and ongoing investment in technology in order to support the rapidly growing demand for CompoSecure's products.
Logan graduated from Boston University with a BA in Computer Science and minor in Business Administration, and holds an MBA degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Industrial Management. Logan is also the recipient of Fairleigh Dickinson University’s 2015 PINNACLE Award, which highlights significant contributions to society and humanity through public and humanitarian service by alumni.
The annual lecture will be held in conjunction with the awards ceremony for the 2016 New Jersey Business Idea Competition, a program designed to nurture an entrepreneurial mindset among high school students.
The event will begin with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony at 6:45 p.m. and the lecture at 7:15 p.m., taking place in Lenfell Hall, Hennessy Hall, on FDU’s Florham Campus, located at 285 Madison Ave., Madison, NJ 07940.
