Supply Chain Management Panel Discussion


MADISON, NJ (October 14, 2014)— The Silberman College of Business will host a panel discussion, “Contemporary Challenges in Managing Your Supply Chain: Implications for Organizations” in Hartman Lounge, in Hennessy Hall, at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham Campus on Wednesday, October 22nd from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
The panel will shed light on the potential challenges awaiting the organizations and supply chains for the present and the future. They will also discuss what methodologies, tools and skills would be instrumental in addressing those challenges.
There will be four panelists at this discussion. Eylem Koca, assistant professor of operations management, Chris Shanahan, vice president of global procurement, Ron Guido, president of Lifecare Services LLC, and Rich Ullrich, senior vice president of supply chain at L’Oreal. Alkis Vazacopoulos, program coordinator for the new MS in supply chain management, will moderate the panel.
In an effort to respond to the increasing demand for skilled professionals in the field, FDU is offering a new master of science program in supply chain management. Successful management of supply chain and operations is the key to success for virtually all organizations, especially in today’s fast-paced, global and highly competitive business environment.
