Teaneck, N.J. (October 27, 2014) — Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Office of Alumni Relations and Metropolitan Campus Career Development Center will host a panel of human resources and hiring managers, including FDU graduates, on Tuesday, Nov. 11. They’ll offer career and job-search advice from 4-6 p.m. in Wilson Auditorium, Dickinson Hall, at the Metropolitan Campus.
The panel will shed light on the potential challenges job-seekers, including students, may face as they graduate into the workforce, and how to overcome those obstacles. Panelists will also discuss best practices for job searches as well as give personal career advice.
There five panelists at this discussion include: Jennifer Hanson, BA'94, MBA'97 (Flor), recruitment account manager for GlaxoSmithKline; Domenick Saglimbeni, CPA, CFP, BS'85 (Ruth), partner at Flackman, Goodman & Potter; Nicolas Scarpa, BS'02, MBA'05 (Metro), associate director of HR and Compensation at ITHAKA; Robin Solow, BA'94 (Metro), director of talent acquisition-human resources for global manufacturing and sourcing, Ralph Lauren Corporation; and Kathy Wertalik, human resources supervisor for UPS. Eli Amdur, BA ’69 (Ruth), a senior coach and advisor for Amdur Coaching and adjunct professor at the Metropolitan Campus, will moderate the panel.
