Fairleigh Dickinson University hosts CNN's David Gergen


Madison, NJ (February 15, 2015) – Fairleigh Dickinson University hosts David Gergen, CNN senior political analyst, for a special Q-and-A session from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday, February 19 in Lenfell Hall, Hennessy Hall at the Florham Campus.

Political Science Professor Bruce Peabody will moderate the event, and University President Sheldon Drucker will introduce communications major and junior Jamie Mulroony to deliver welcome remarks. Gergen is scheduled to speak to an anticipated audience of 150 students, faculty and staff.

Later that evening, Gergen speaks at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, N.J., as part of FDU’s inaugural season of the New Jersey Speakers Series.

A senior political analyst for CNN, Gergen is also a former presidential adviser to presidents Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush and Bill Clinton. He is a professor of public service and co-director of the Center for Public Leadership at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
