Baseball agent Sam Levinson speaks to sports administration students
May 7, 2018 — Sam Levinson, co-founder and co-owner of ACES Baseball Agency, visited Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus on April 26 to address sports administration students. Levinson told stories about his career as a baseball agent and offered students advice on how to become successful sports agents.
“His firsthand experience really allowed me to get an understanding of what sports agents do,” says freshman Julianna Tolerico, “It was very useful information and it helped me decide which career path I want to take."
Levinson was invited to speak at FDU by Jong-Chae Kim, associate professor and co-director of the sports administration program.
Levinson and his brother Seth own ACES (Athletes’ Careers Enhanced and Secured) Baseball agency, which came in fourth on Forbes’ 2017 Sports Agents list. The two brothers represent more than 50 Major League Baseball players, including David Wright, Brandon Phillips, Dustin Pedroia, Jon Lester, Grant Balfour, Joaquin Benoit, Josh Riddick, Dustin Wilson, Jeurys Familia and Daniel Murphy.
