Both Latino Promise and Puerta al Futuro (Gateway to the Future) are based out of FDU’s Metropolitan Campus in Petrocelli College of Continuing Studies. Latino Promise caters to students whose SAT scores or GPA do not meet the University’s regular admissions criteria. Through the program, students can earn an associate degree at FDU and then transfer into one the University’s bachelor’s degree programs.
Puerta al Futuro enables Spanish-speaking adults to learn English and earn a college degree through progressive all-Spanish to all-English coursework. Classes are offered at the Metropolitan Campus and at offsite locations in Dover, Elizabeth, and Perth Amboy, N.J.
“Tiempo” is a weekly round-table discussion show about topics affecting and relating to Hispanic people.
