Take the ‘It’s On Us’ pledge against sexual assault on campus

Members of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) and a number of student-athletes at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus are taking a stand alongside celebrities, brands and organizations to help stop sexual assault on college campuses. Are you?

It's On Us
Join FDU students in taking a stand against sexual assault on college campuses by signing the 'It's On Us' pledge!

These students have voluntarily committed to “It’s On Us” — a national sexual assault prevention and awareness campaign — pledging: “To RECOGNIZE that non-consensual sex is sexual assault. To IDENTIFY situations in which sexual assault may occur. To INTERVENE in situations where consent has not or cannot be given. To CREATE an environment in which sexual assault is unacceptable and survivors are supported.”

“I’m excited that the students are taking on this initiative themselves and taking it seriously,” says Michelle McCroy-Heins, dean of students at the Metropolitan Campus. “The issue of sexual assault on college campuses is a critical one, and bystander intervention is a key component of keeping the Metropolitan Campus safe. Student safety is our priority.”

Visit www.itsonus.org to take the pledge — all Metro students are encouraged to participate.
