Kirsten Tripodi has more that 25 years of hospitality experience. For the past 10 years, Professor Tripodi worked for the BackBay Restaurant Group as a Manager, and then General Manager in Paramus and Short Hills, NJ locations.

Professor Tripodi has also worked in various capacities for Restaurant Associates (Rockefeller Center); The Ritz-Carlton (Central Park South and Buckhead); The Nassau Inn in Princeton, NJ; Lackmann Foodservice (Prudential-Bache, Water St.); The Richmont Hotel, Chicago; and The Mayfair Regent (Park Ave.). Professor Tripodi specialized in Food and Beverage Operations and Training for most of her career, but also has had experience in Rooms Division and in Career Placement.

Professor Tripodi holds a Bachelor's degree from Rutgers College, RU in Political Science and Spanish. She earned her Master's degree from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration and  her PhD in Higher Education at Seton Hall University.
