J.C. Kim, Ph.D.
Dr. Kim came to Fairleigh Dickinson University after serving as the sport management program coordinator of the University of Tennessee at Martin for 4 years. His teaching and research interests include organizational behavior, sport policy, international sport business, and research methods. He is married to Hyejung and they have two children: Grace and Christian
Dr. Kim primarily has taught at the undergraduate and master levels of sport administration. Dr. Kim has focused his research interests in the areas of sport policy analysis, organizational culture, diversity, and research methods. Dr. Kim has published research articles in journals such as International Journal of Sport Psychology, Journal of Multidisciplinary Research, International Journal of Sport Management, Journal of Sport and Laws, and Social Behavior and Personality: An International Journal. He will serve as a member of the Editorial Review Board for Journal of Sport Safety and Security since 2016.
