Hector joined the Office of Communications in March 2015. He received his bachelor's degree in fine arts in graphic design at St. John's University in Queens, New York.

Before joining FDU he was employed by Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) as the Office Administrator for the Section of Hospital Medicine’s office day-to-day needs. While at CUMC, he designed the hospitalist’s and the Division of General Medicine’s website.  He was involved in various graphic-design projects for the University and the Internal Medicine Residency Program at CUMC. In July 2003 his first job was working for New York Life Insurance Company as a junior graphic designer.

As part of the communications team here at FDU, Hector primarily works on any of the University graphic-design needs. We work on anything related to the Fairleigh Dickinson logo, banners, advertisements, forms, brochures, book covers and the web.

His interests are anything scifi or fantasy from StarTrek, StarWars, super heroe shows/movies, Harry Potter, Transformers G1. To current favorites GRIMM, Person of Interest, The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. He also enjoys watching and coaching soccer for Bergenfield United Soccer Club. But his very favorite thing to do is spending time with his wife and two children.
