George Milonas currently oversees investigations within the Corporate Security Department for a leading global rental vehicle supplier company. He is responsible for overseeing investigations involving but not limited to occupational and external fraud and employee misconduct events. He is also responsible for critical incident response coordination; mitigating enterprise wide fraud risk and corporate physical security.
George was previously a Vice President for a leading global financial institution where he worked in the Emerging Risk Team within the Global Anti-Money Laundering Compliance team. George has extensive experience with USA Patriot Act, Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, regulatory compliance investigations, emerging AML/TF risk, global financial intelligence initiatives and drafting policies and procedures to implement regulations.
George was formerly a municipal police officer in Morris County, NJ and a Detective with the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. During his tenure with the Morris County Prosecutor's Office he served in the Office's most distinguished investigative divisions to include the Major Crime Unit, Intelligence Unit, Professional Standards Unit and Trial Division where he successfully investigated criminal investigations.
As a Detective, George has presented lectures on different law enforcement related topics to include internal affairs investigations, professional ethics, criminal street gang awareness and criminal investigation procedures at various law enforcement educational academies.
George is currently an Adjunct Professor for Fairleigh Dickinson University, teaching for the School of Administrative Science. He received a BA in Sociology / Criminal Justice from Centenary College and a Masters of Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
