Frederick Englander

Professor of Economics

Economics & Finance Department

Professor Englander holds a B.B.A degree from the University of Massachusetts and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Rutgers University.

He currently teaches Economics at FDU.

His research interests include:

-the role of government in the economy

-appropriate public policy responses to such issues as education problems, crime, threats to the environment and natural resources, and poverty

-ethical dimensions of public policy issues

-factors which influence student achievement in introductory economics and other college courses courses

Personal interests include travel, theater, and tennis.
