David Landau

Mr. Landau, a member of IATSE local 52, has worked professionally in the film and TV industry as a gaffer, lighting director, cameraman and video director of photography. He has worked on commercials, TV-series, feature films, documentaries, corporate videos and internet broadcast news.

An award winning published playwright and member of The Dramatists Guild, Mr. Landau has worked as a writer and story consultant for TV, industrial videos, training videos and independent film companies. He has had several scripts optioned and suffered through many Hollywood pitch meetings.

Mr. Landau is known as the inventor of the interactive mystery play and the founder and artistic director of Murder To Go Productions.

Notable works as Writer/Director include "Stab in the Dark" - an interactive DVD mystery released by The Mystery Guild Bookclub and available from Amazon, and "Murder at Cafe Noir" - an independent feature which was an official selection of the AngelCiti Film Festival. As screenwriter/Cinematographer,"Joker's Wild" - a ten minute short for A&E Short Subjects, also aired on HBO and Cinemax and winner of the Chris Award from the Columbus International Film Festival, and "ASAP" - an award winning EMS training video series.
