Christopher Anderson

Adjunct Professor of History and Religion

Currently, I am a PhD candidate at Drew University in Madison. I serve as a faculty research assistant and am also working on a film preservation project at the United Methodist Church archives at Drew. Prior to FDU, I taught for four years as full-time faculty at Barclay College in Kansas. Since moving to New Jersey I've taught Western Civilization at Nyack College in New York (Fall 2001) as well as Ancient Civilizations (Fall 2002), Crowds and Riots of the American Revolution (Summer 2003), and Religion in American History (Spring 2004) courses at FDU.

On a personal note, while in Kansas I was the men's basketball coach as well as the head coach for the baseball program at Barclay College. In my spare time I served as a volunteer firefighter. My wife and I live in Madison along with two boys who play soccer and baseball.
