Anthony Mantellino recently retired as a Lieutenant with the New York City Police Department. He had been a member of the department for 20 years and was assigned to the borough of Manhattan South. His years of service have included 14 years in the departments Detective Bureau, Narcotics Division and Intelligence Division. While assigned to these units, Professor Mantellino has investigated and supervised high profile investigations involving homicides and crimes connected to organized crime and terrorism. In 2005, Professor Mantellino began teaching at St. John’s University as an adjunct professor for the School of Criminal Justice in Staten Island New York. Professor Mantellino holds an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a graduate degree in Management from St. John’s University and is currently pursuing a M.B.A from Penn State University. Additionally, Professor Mantellino is a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial Services and holds a Series 7 and Series 66 license.
