Presidential Scholarship - Fall 2017

School Counselor/College Advisor:

Applications for FDU's full-tuition Presidential Scholarship for Fall 2017 are being accepted. Students can apply online at fdu.edu/presidential; applications must be received by January 15, 2017 (students must also apply for admission by January 15, 2017).

School Counselor/College Advisor recommendation letters are optional but encouraged. To submit a recommendation letter on behalf of a Presidential Scholarship applicant, please provide the student information on the form below and submit your recommendation online.

Scholarship Criteria and Requirements

  • SAT composite score of 1350 or above (Math plus Evidenced-based Reading and Writing); or ACT score of 29 or higher*
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher*
  • Essay of 400 to 500 words on a topic of the applicant's choosing
  • Students must enroll as a first-time, full-time residential freshman at FDU’s Florham or Metropolitan Campus
  • Students must have a completed application for admission on file by January 15, 2017

*consideration begins at these academic levels
