Undergraduate Application Requirements

FDU's application process

We encourage you to apply early in your senior year of high school. This is especially important to ensure space in some of our more popular programs which fill quickly.

Standardized test scores are optional for students with a 3.3 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or higher, or 88 numerical average higher except for applicants to nursing, pharmacy, and education (QUEST program). If your GPA is below 3.3, standardized test scores are required.

You will be evaluated based on self-reported GPAs as stated on the application for admission. Official high school transcripts are required before the start of the Fall semester.

We recommend that your academic background include the following:

  • 4 units of English
  • 2 units of history
  • 3 units of science (2 units of laboratory science minimum)
  • 3 units of college prep mathematics (such as Algebra I and II, and geometry)
