I'm Accepted, what's next?

Use this checklist to ease your transition to FDU!

  1. Submit Your Deposit

    Secure your place in our Spring 2018 or Fall 2018 incoming class by submitting your nonrefundable deposit. Be sure to mail in your New Student Matriculation Form with either your check (made payable to Fairleigh Dickinson University) or a copy of your proof of payment online.

  2. Set up Your FDU Email Account

    To create an FDU email account (webmail), visit webmail.fdu.edu and click on Create New Account. You will need your student ID number found on your admission letter. If you need assistance with creating your webmail account, visit fdu.edu/webmailhelp.

  3. Housing and Meal Plan

    Complete your online Housing and Meal Plan Application and make your non-refundable $350 housing deposit, which includes a $200 non-refundable room deposit and a $150 security deposit. Use your FDU email and password to access the housing application. Housing is limited and provided on a space-available basis.

  4. Health Forms

New Jersey state law requires all students to provide proof of immunizations to the University's Student Health Services Office before they can register for classes or check into the residence halls. Download and complete all required Health Forms. If you have questions, contact the Student Health Services Office at 201.692.2437.

If health forms are not recieved, a registration hold will be placed on your account and admission may be revoked.

  1. Send Final Transcripts

    Final official transcript(s) from all previous institutions attended are required. Mail transcript(s) to:

    If final, official transcript are not received, a registration hold will be placed on your account and admission may be revoked.

  2. Academic Advising and Registration

    Once your tuition deposit and health forms have been submitted, contact a program advisor from the Academic Advising Contact List for an appointment to schedule classes.

  3. Student ID Cards

    Visit the Office of Public Safety for your photo ID card.

  4. Orientation

    FDU offers a Transfer Orientation Program prior to the start of each semester. Details about the Transfer Orientation Program are mailed shortly after receiving your enrollment deposit.
