Admission Requirements


All applicants for the MA in Forensic Psychology are required to submit the following:

  1. A graduate school application submitted online
  2. A non-refundable $40 application fee
  3. Official transcripts for all post-secondary school academic work. Completion of an undergraduate degree (BA/BS) in psychology or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education (including coursework in Introductory Psychology, Statistics, and Abnormal Psychology). Although there is no fixed minimum overall GPA, it is unlikely that students will be competitive for acceptance with a GPA < 3.40.
  4. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores from the general test
  5. Two letters of recommendation (At least one must be from a faculty member)
How to Apply

The completed application and all required materials, including official transcripts and application fee, should be sent directly to the Graduate Admissions Office, Fairleigh Dickinson University, 1000 River Road, T-KB1-01, Teaneck, New Jersey, 07666.

Applications are carefully reviewed, and group interviews may be conducted for those applicants who meet the program’s criteria.

Applications are considered with rolling admission for the Fall semester until May 15
