Environmental Science

The school is currently reviewing this program; as a result, new degree students will not be accepted at this time. For additional information about the program, please contact Dr. Marion McClary, School of Natural Sciences co-director.

The B.S. in Biology and Marine Biology has a concentration in environmental sciences. In addition to content of the major, technical electives dealing with the environmental subjects such as hazardous waste management and environmental planning and construction, the curriculum places heavy emphasis on the basic sciences. A certain degree of flexibility is allowed to tailor the program to individual career goals. This degree is designed for students interested in careers in applied environmental work.
