Tutoring Schedule

During the fall and spring semesters, tutoring is available Mondays through Thursdays from 10am-7pm, Fridays from 10am-4pm, and Sunday afternoons from 1pm-5pm.

Online eTutoring is also available to Metropolitan and Vancouver campus undergrads, Petrocelli online learners, and Community College Partnership students.

We see students mostly on a drop-in basis. Limited appointment hours become available mid-semester. When the studio is busy, you may have to wait to see a tutor, so plan your time wisely. Be sure to complete a "Tutoring Request Form" upon your arrival to the Studio.

Tutors assist students with all phases of the writing process from brainstorming ideas to polishing the final draft.  We do not, however, offer proofreading or editing services; our goal is to teach students how do such things for themselves.

You should bring the assignment given to you by your instructor, the materials (such as articles or books) upon which the assignment is based, and a copy of what you have written so far when you work with a tutor.

Tutoring Schedule:

Free tutoring in all phases of the writing process is available to FDU students, faculty, and staff on a drop-in basis.

The Metro Writing Studio is located in the Giovatto Library (second floor).
