The Metro Writing Studio welcomes you to the Fall 2016 semester.  Our normal hours of operation,  beginning on Tuesday, September 6th will be: Monday through Thursday 10:00 am – 7:00 pm, Friday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm and Sunday 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm.  Please come to one of our writing workshops or join us for one of our conversational Fridays where you can improve your written and spoken English skills.  See our full list of  events under workshops and tutoring schedules linked at the left of this webpage,  or stop by the Metro Writing Studio on the second floor of The Giovatto Library to get help on one of your papers with one of our professional writing tutors.

Welcome to the Metro Writing Studio Homepage of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Metropolitan campus. We are located in Frank Giovatto Library on the second floor (behind the circulation desk). The Studio offers free & individualized tutoring in all phases of writing process to all members of the FDU community. Please click through our websites to view our most current tutoring schedule and to learn about our many workshops.

The professional tutors at the Metro Writing Studio provide free academic support services to help students, faculty, and staff at Fairleigh Dickinson University improve student writing skills. Tutoring and workshops are offered in the Studio, which is a space designed to accommodate one-on-one, small group, and classroom instruction. Students have access to Studio laptops when working with tutors or attending class in the Studio (or they may bring their own laptops); wireless access to the Internet is available to those who have an FDU Webmail account.
