Program Outcomes

The Educational Leadership Program produces leadership candidates who are:
  1. Qualified to serve as educational leaders;
  2. Competent in decision making;
  3. Caring educational leaders;
  4. Technologically proficient;
  5. Culturally responsive to the diverse needs of the learning community in which they work;
  6. Reflective of what they have learned and what they need to learn;
  7. Prepared to become certified as administrators.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of the program the leadership candidate will:
  1. Assume the role of a leader in promoting achievement for all students;
  2. Have the management skills required to utilize available district resources;
  3. Have the skills and knowledge to create a vision for effective schools and engage the learning community stakeholders in the process of creating and implementing an educational vision;
  4. Possess the human relations skills to effectively interact with teachers, parents, students and other members of the school and learning community.
