BSConT Program Curriculum
The B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology curriculum requires the successful completion of 133 credits. It includes mathematics, basic sciences, English composition and communications, humanities and social sciences, and technical courses.
Required technical courses include: Computer-Aided Drafting, Surveying, Construction Materials and Systems, Statics, Engineering Practices, Graphics and Design, Estimating, Strength of Materials, Environmental and Land Use Planning, Programming Languages in Engineering, Applied Thermodynamics, Dynamics, Structures, Timber Structures, Soil Mechanics, Project Management and Control, Construction Practices, Fluid Mechanics, Foundations, Advanced Structural Analysis, Engineering Statistics and Reliability, Circuits, Management and Engineering Economics, Construction Practices and Construction Technology Design Project. Technical electives such as Highway Design, Bridge Design, Seismic Design, Construction Labor, Solid Waste Management and Environmental Engineering are available.
