Business Administration BS with Information Systems Concentration
The Information Systems concentration prepares students to be effective users and managers of information technologies/systems in technology-enabled organizations. It provides students with practical knowledge and skills in the integration of management and technology in the various business disciplines.
The major course requirements for this concentration are ONLY offered on the Metropolitan Campus.
Requirements for the Bachelor of Science degree
All students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science Degree program must complete the University and Business Core Curriculum in addition to the major requirements listed below.
21 credits of major requirements for Information Systems Concentration
- MIS4301 Data Communications & Networks
- MIS4303 Spreadsheet Applications in Business
- MIS4304 Database Applications in Business
- MIS4305 Systems Analysis, Design & Implementation
Select three elective business courses
Courses chosen from any permissible courses offered in other SCB majors. Permissible means the student has satisfied all prerequisites for any course in which he/she wishes to enroll.
