In order to participate in the BS MS Program, all students must meet the following requirements:
- Students must be accepted to Fairleigh Dickinson University at the undergraduate level.
In order to advance into the MS portion of the Accounting program, all applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Students must formally apply and be accepted into the MS portion of the program. There is no application fee charged to the student.
- The GMAT is waived for SCB students having GPA of 3.2 or higher upon completion of the first semester of their junior year (and 3.5 for other FDU students). Others applicants are required to submit a GMAT score taken within the last five years.
- Although a current resume is not required, it is strongly recommended that the applicant submit one.
Under no circumstances will a student be permitted to take any graduate level course until formally accepted into the MS portion.
The BS-MS in Accounting program is open to any accounting major admitted to the University. After completing the first 82 credits at the undergraduate level, students are eligible to continue in the upper level of the 150-hour BS/MS program if they comply with the requirements set above.
Acceptance into the program takes place in the sixth semester of the undergraduate program. Students accepted into the upper level of the program will complete the undergraduate portion of the program by the end of their seventh semester. No graduate coursework can be completed until all admissions requirements to the MS Accounting program are completed.
