Admission Requirements

 

Rolling Admissions Policy for U.S. Students

 

Applications are processed year-round. Applying online will waive the $40 application fee. Once accepted into the program, students can take advantage of our convenient Saturday and evening class schedule to begin their program mid-semester, if they choose.


Domestic Students

Applicants who would like to be considered for admission to the M.B.A. program must submit:

1. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
2. Official transcripts from all colleges and universities in which undergraduate or graduate course work was completed.
3. An official score report for the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Exam (GRE) taken within the last five years.

Students applying to the M.B.A. program may request a waiver of the GMAT/GRE requirement provided:
a. they have received an undergraduate degree in business from Silberman College of Business with a CGPA of 3.2 or higher, or
b. they have received an undergraduate degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a CGPA of 3.5 or above, or
c. they have received an undergraduate degree in business from another AACSB-accredited business program with a CGPA of 3.5 or above, or
d. if they have earned a terminal degree (Ph.D., M.D., J.D., etc.)
e. if they have earned a Master’s degree from any institution in which the GMAT or GRE was used a criterion for admission

Applicants who would like to be considered for admission to an M.S. program offered by Silberman College of Business must submit:

1. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
2. Official transcripts from all colleges and universities in which undergraduate or graduate course work was completed.

c. they have received an undergraduate degree in business from another AACSB-accredited business program with a CGPA of 3.5 or above, or
d. if they have earned a terminal degree (Ph.D., M.D., J.D., etc.)
e. if they have earned a Master’s degree from any institution in which the GMAT or GRE was used a criterion for admission
f. if they have three years or more of substantive and relevant full-time work experience in the relevant discipline or an allied discipline of the M.S. program and an undertraduate CPGA of 3.0 or higher. Students requesting the waiver based on their work experience must submit a detailed current resume that shows the level and type of their work experience, and a letter of recommendation from their supervisor as to their maturity and commitment to the profession.

M.B.A. applicants who have not completed all requirements for admission to the degree program may be permitted to enroll in undergraduate business courses on a nondegree basis, which may enable them to waive courses in the M.B.A. program, should they be admitted.
